Only students, their parents/guardians, teachers or others connected to our trials through their school or organisations may use the Depublish online triage. We assume that all information provided is true and accurate. Anyone knowingly providing false information will be liable for any damages caused by supplying false and untrue information.
We hold your data to review your case and then send you a result which may outline the actions that can be taken to find a solution. We ask for your approval to proceed with any one or all of the recommendations outlined and where appropriate process take-downs with the relevant social media platform and/or the poster of the wrongly published content. When we have completed the actions agreed with our clients we offer them the option of removing all data that we store relevant to their case or where relevant we will offer to store the data provided confidentially and to e-discovery standards should the data be required for future legal action. Clients may request at any time a copy of their data or that we permanently delete all the data that they supplied.
We may share some your data with the relevant social media platform where necessary to process a takedown.
If online activity reported to us is illegal and poses a risk to child safety and protection, then Depublish is required by law to contact the relevant school’s designated Children First Officer and the case may be referred for the attention of Tusla Child and Family Agency and/or Garda Siochana.
